Many of you have been hearing the buzz about the New Inductions Experience that National has been rolling out for our newly elected members. The OA is evolving our induction experience to ensure today's young people forge real connections, discover what Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service mean in their lives, and begin journeys they'll carry forward for years. 

We are excited to give YOU another chance to experience the new process yourself! This time we are offering it as a one-day experience to allow you to see the new process without a full night alone and, sadly, we also have to cut the service portion as well to make it fit into one day.

Where? Stearns Scout Camp

When? Saturday, October 24, 2026 (Only Lunch included)

8 - 8:30 AM arrival window

9 AM SHARP - event start

6:30 PM departure

Why?  This is your chance to re-experience your induction into the Order of the Arrow, learn how today’s new members are welcomed into the lodge, and see how our national youth leadership have re-envisioned the process.

Options: If you are traveling some distance, you are welcome to camp at Stearns. You must provide your own tent.

Early arrival: Friday evening to camp at Stearns (meals NOT provided).

Late departure: Saturday evening stay at Stearns overnight (meals NOT provided)

Camping Fee $10 per person

Our Lodge has been leading the way in this change. We held one of the first Section Induction Experiences in the country and we were the VERY FIRST LODGE to induct new members using this process.  We are now busy preparing for our Fall Induction weekends to welcome even more new members into our lodge using the new program. Come see what we are up to!

New members to the Order of the Arrow are given an OA drawstring bag and Journal with pen to use during the weekend. In order to keep costs down for this weekend, you are being asked to either bring your own day pack and journal/pen OR purchase them as a $9 add-on option during checkout.

Please wear your class A and OA sash. You will have the option to switch to a class B if the heat of the day requires it (or layer over it if it is a brisk Fall day)

Don’t forget to be prepared for the weather (rain or shine) and bring a water bottle!!!!
