Leave No Trace Skills Course for Youth /Level 1 Instructor Course for Adults

                                   October 12 - October 13

EVENT DETAILS: This course is for BSA registered adults and youth at least age 14 and meets youth requirement for the National Medal for Outdoor Achievement. Strongly suggested for experienced scouts, Cubscout and Scout leaders. Participants will be prepared to demonstrate minimum impact techniques and share activities. Adults will be certified to teach BSA Leave No Trace course

When: Saturday morning October 12,arrive 8:00 a.m. and depart Sunday, October 13 by Noon

Zoom Session: Wednesday October 9  from 7:00pm-8:30pm to go through presentation assignments

Where: Stearns Scout Camp – Check in at: White Water. Plan to be outdoors Saturday, regardless of weather!

Food: Food is provided for three meals. (Please let us know if any food allergies or special accommodations required)

Bring: Health form, overnight camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, pad, tarp, mess kit and cup, water bottle, rain gear, personal items), snacks. Adults bring your teaching aids.

Cost: $45 per participant registered before September 30th, after, $55 per participant. Cost covers materials, facility fees and meals.
