Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor Course for Adults September 7-8, 2024

EVENT DETAILS: Join other Scout leaders  for a fun, hands on experience, to build skills in teaching Leave No Trace! This course is for BSA registered adults who want to improve outdoor experiences, reduce outdoor impacts and teach Leave No Trace! Adults give a 10 - 15 minute presentation in the field on a pre-assigned Leave No Trace principle

When: Saturday morning September 7, arrive 8:00 am and depart Sunday, Sept 8 by Noon. 

Zoom session Wednesday September 9th, 7-8:30 pm to review presentation assignments.

Where: Stearns Scout Camp – Check in at Landes.

Food: Food is provided for three meals. (Please let us know if any food allergies or special accommodations required)

Bring: Health forms, overnight camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, pad, tarp, mess kit and cup, water bottle, rain gear, personal items), and snacks. Bring your teaching props

Cost: $45 per participant registered before August 24th, after $55 per participant. The cost covers; materials, facility fees and meals for the weekend.
