From now until the summer of 2026, our metro area camps have planned several special events for those who have a reservation at that camp. However, if you don't have a weekend reservation, we also have the option to attend these events without a weekend reservation by signing up here.

Events:

• September 13th: Shooting Sports & Climbing Tower Day at Phillippo
  • Date: September 13th, 2025
  • Location: Phillippo Scout Camp (30654 32nd Ave Way, Cannon Falls, MN 55009)
  • Programs: Archery, BB, Rifle, and the Climbing Tower will all be open during select times (see below). We will have merit badge counselors for Archery, Rifle Shooting, and Climbing merit badges to sign off on requirements from partials.
    • * Please note that participants must be in 5th grade or higher to participate in Rifle Shooting.
  • Schedule:
    • The Archery Range will be open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    • The BB Range will be open from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
    • The Climbing Tower will be open from 1:00 p.m. - 5 p.m.
    • The .22 Rifle Range will be open from 1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Price: Free for those with a camp facility reservation, $5 for those without a camp facility reservation
• October 11th: Shooting Sports & Climbing Tower Day at Stearns
  • Date: October 11th, 2025
  • Location: Stearns Scout Camp (3303 County Road 44 South Haven, MN 55382)
  • Programs: Archery, BB, Rifle, and the Climbing Tower will all be open during select times (see below). We will have merit badge counselors for Archery, Rifle Shooting, and Climbing merit badges to sign off on requirements from partials.

• January 17th, Merit Badge Day at  Andersen Scout Camp
  • Date: January 17th, 2026
  • Location:Andersen Scout Camp (186 Andersen Scout Camp Trail, Houlton, Wisconsin 54082)
  • Join us at Andersen for Graphic Arts Merit Badge. Class will start at 9:am and will go till around 4pm with an hour break for lunch.
  • Price: Free for those with a camp facility reservation, $15 for those without a camp facility reservation
  • Details:

    • Lunch is not provided. 

    • Scouts should come prepared with ideas for a 4" x 4" one-color bold logo (troop logo or personal design).

    • Designs can be drafted by hand or converted from digital files. Scouts may bring tablets or laptops, but they are not required.

    • The badge requirement includes producing 20 screen prints. Scouts can bring extra t-shirts from their fellow Scouts or use provided cloth/paper materials. This would be a great opportunity to add a troop logo to any Scouting shirt your Scouts and leaders might want screen printed. 

    • After lunch, we’ll tour a professional screen-printing facility in Stillwater.

    • Transportation help needed: If you are an adult leader at camp and can assist with transporting Scouts for 1–2 hours in the afternoon, please let us know.

• March 14th, Merit Badge Day at Phillippo Scout Camp

  • Join us at Phillippo for Merit Badge TBA. The class will be held in the Frey Fellowship Hall. Class will start at 9:30am and will go till around 3pm with an hour break for lunch.
  • Price: Free for those with a camp facility reservation, $5 for those without a camp facility reservation 
• May 9th, Shooting Sports & Climbing Tower Day at Stearns Scout Camp
  • Date: May 9th, 2026
  • Location: Stearns Scout Camp (3303 County Rd 44, South Haven, Minnesota 55382)
  • Schedule for the day:
    • 9am-12:00pm- BB range open
    • 12:30pm-5pm- .22 rifle range open
    • 10am-5pm- Archery range open
    • 10am-5pm- Climbing Tower open
  • We will be offering make up/ catch up for Archery, Rifle, and Climbing Merit Badge
  • Price: Free for those with a camp facility reservation, $5 for those without a camp facility reservation
