From now until the summer of 2024, our metro area camps have planned several special events for those who have a reservation at that camp. However, if you don't have a weekend reservation, we also have the option to attend these events without a weekend reservation by signing up here.

Events:

• September 16th: Shooting Sports & Climbing Tower Day at Phillippo
  • Date: September 16th, 2023
  • Location: Phillippo Scout Camp (30654 32nd Ave Way, Cannon Falls, MN 55009)
  • Programs: Archery, BB, Rifle, and the Climbing Tower will all be open during select times (see below). We will have merit badge counselors for Archery, Rifle Shooting, and Climbing merit badges to sign off on requirements from partials.
    • * Please note that participants must be in 5th grade or higher to participate in Rifle Shooting.
  • Schedule:
    • The Archery Range will be open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    • The BB Range will be open from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
    • The Climbing Tower will be open from 1:00 p.m. - 5 p.m.
    • The .22 Rifle Range will be open from 1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Price: Free for those with a camp facility reservation, $5 for those without a camp facility reservation

  • Join us at Fred C. Andersen for Art Merit Badge. Class will start at 9:30am and will go till around 3pm with an hour break for lunch.

• February 10th. Board Game Tournament at Kiwanis
  • Date: February 10th, 2024

• April 20th, First Class Rank Requirement & Nature Hike Day at Rum River Scout Camp
  • Date: April 20th, 2024
  • Location: Rum River Scout Camp(15659 St Francis Blvd NW, Ramsey, MN 55303)
  • Join us at Rum River for our First Class Rank Advancement & Nature Hike Day at. First Class Requirement stations will start after a flag raising ceremony outside of Colbert Shelter. Flag raising will be at 10am. There will be a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Food is not provided.

• May 11th, Shooting Sports, Climbing Tower & Summer Camp Merit Badge Make Up Day at Stearns Scout Camp
