Minnesota State Fair, August 21 - September 1, 2025

Represent Scouting at the Minnesota State Fair

To start, Select the Register button from the list of days to the right.
Northern Star Scouting is in need of many energetic volunteers to work at the State Fair Booth!  This year volunteers will be working week days, weekends and Labor Day shifts.  We need 2 volunteers per shift on week days and 4 volunteers per shift on weekends.  
Youth ages 14 and up may volunteer if they are accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult leader.

Different this year:  All volunteers will receive 2 tickets to the State Fair! 

There are 2 Weekday Volunteer Shifts per Weekday days:
       Weekday Shift 1 = 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
       Weekday Shift 2 = 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. 

There are 2 Weekend Volunteer Shifts per weekend days:
        Weekend Shift 1 = 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
        Weekend Shift 2 = 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Remember:  All volunteers will receive 2 tickets to the State Fair! 

The tickets will be available in August, to be picked up at the Leadership Center at Base Camp.

All volunteers will be required to read the Information document attached to this event.   Please review the map and read the Information to be sure you know where to go when you volunteer.     

What will we be doing at the Fair
- Be a general ambassador for our Scouting programs
- Help participants register to participate at the Axe throwing course
- Help participants with the Axe throwing equipment
- Help Camp staff as needed
