REWARD: FUN and Advancement Opportunities
With your registration, you can select your favorite campsite. Please refer to the 2017 Shindig Campsite Location and Map PDF when selecting your campsite. Campsites will be given on a first come first served basis. *So register early to get the site you want.
Saturday evening meal will be a camp wide Hoedown Dinner served at the Pavilion
There will be an Entrée Cook Off to be served at the Hoedown Dinner.
Plan to make enough to feed your unit, plus two (minimum of 8 servings)
Entrées must follow the Chuck Wagon theme.
A recipe must be provided. Can be shared so other units can replicate their favorites.
All units must contribute an entrée.
Units may also provide a dessert for the Dessert Cook Off.
VOA will provide sides, bread, root beer and water
There will only be 2 rotations in the afternoon so you have time to prepare and cook your entrée for dinner.
There will be stations at the pavilion for cooking. Plan to bring your own charcoal or other cooking fuel and utensils. *Don’t forget your mess kits.
Cleaning stations will also be provided.
