2016 Double Dog Dare Event Day Volunteer Registration

Event Details

The Double Dog Dare Challenge is a fundraiser benefiting the Northern Star Council, Boy Scouts of America, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Participants raise $1,200 for the opportunity to rappel down the 23-story U.S. Bank Plaza headquartered in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.

What will you be doing:

Check In

Check participants in and provide name tag and wrist band.

Registration

Confirm participants have waivers, collect rappelling stories and collect all personal items they cannot take on the rappel. Main base for event.

Registration Escort

Escort walks participants from check in, registration or training areas as needed. No stairs involved. 

Training Escort

Escort walks participants between training rappel area (main floor) to actual rappel site on roof. There are stairs involved.

Landing Zone Escort

Escort walks participants from base of building after rappel and pictures are taken back to registration to take off gear and collect personal items.
