Register to Attend the Recognition Awards Dinner
The 2018 District Recognition Dinner will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 6:30PM, at the May Roundtable, located at the Wayzata Country Club, 200 Wayzata Blvd West, Wayzata, MN 55391. Dinner will be provided at a cost of $20.00 each. A limited number of chairs will be available without dinner for $5.00 per person.

General Information
Please use the forms to the left to make your nominations for the various adult leader positions, the 'Golden Ember Award', and for the District Award of Merit for the 2017-2018 school year.
The district is entitled, but not required, to present one Award of Merit for each 25 units, or fraction thereof, this year. These will be selected from the Awards of Merit nominations. Please see the 'District Award of Merit' nomination form for general information and the requirements for making the award.
Depending upon the number of 'position-specific' nominations we receive for each position, more than one adult leader could be selected for an award. For example, if we only receive two nominations for a position, we might only present one award; but if we receive fifteen nominations for a position, we have the option of presenting multiple awards.
You (as an individual Scouter) may submit more than one nomination for each position and for the District Award of Merit.
The Glowing Ember Award is presented to those parents and leaders who during the past year have given that extra bit of contagious enthusiasm, which is so much a part of a successful pack, troop, or crew program. This is YOUR opportunity to help us recognize those leaders who have made your experience as a Scouter better . . . better because you have been able to witness this person’s devotion to Scouting. Each UNIT COMMITTEE may SELECT ONE INDIVIDUAL (parent or scouter) FROM THEIR UNIT to receive the District’s ‘Glowing Ember Award’ at the dinner.
Please keep your nominations confidential. The deadline to submit your nomination is April 15, 2018 at 10:00AM.
Your identity and the identity of your nominee(s) will be “blinded” to the selection committee. The selections will be finalized by April 21, 2018.
You are expected to make every effort to get your nominee(s) to the recognition dinner.
