Who goes to the KV race? Unit leaders will register the top 3 overall speed racers. Additionally, a racer from each remaining ranks will be sent to represent. Don’t forget to send your Best in Show winner. That could be up to 7-8 scouts.

Pay at the registration table. Make sure your parent are prepared for this.
We are inviting everyone to attend the race for the whole day. Join us for our opening ceremony. The race groups are as scheduled. While you wait, check out the Owls Head Transportation Museum, open from 10am-4pm. Stop in to see how the races are going. Once all races have concluded we will announce the District Top 3 Overall Speed Racers and Best in Show to attend Pine Tree Councils race April 26.
This year there will be 2 race times with 3 ranks mixed.
Lions, Tigers and Wolves: Send the top fastest racer from each rank.
Registration: 8:15a-9:00a Race time: 8:45-10:00a
Best in Show: Registration: 9:00a-10:00am Awards to follow between races.
Bears, Webelos and Arrow of Light: Send top fastest racer from each rank.
Registration: 10:15-11:00a Race Time: 11:15a-1:00p
Race Awards Ceremonies will follow each race.
Make a pit stop at the Derby Diner for a Speedy Snack provided by Pack 410 & Pack 609. Fuel up on some goodies!

Spring Pantry and Personal Care Drive- To kick off the Scouting for Food, spring food pantry drive, there will be a collection box available for donations of non-perishables, personal care items and non-dyed pet food, and litter to be given to the local food pantries and shelters.
The Owls Head Transportation Musuem has made it possible for scouts and their families to explore the amazing history of land and air. Please visit the museum after 10am or when you are not racing. They also have a wonderful gift store. Please consider supporting the museum.
