Full STEAM Ahead Weekend

Messer Training Center, Camp Hinds

Join us for the STEAM Ahead weekend at Camp Hinds.  Scouts will have the opportunity to earn two STEAM related merit badges, spend a night in the Training Center, enjoy three delicious family style meals, meet new friends and have fun!

This program is open to all registered Scouts in Pine Tree Council who are 13 years old OR at least First Class Scout.  You don't need to come with your troop or patrol - camp provides adult leaders and merit badge counselors.  Come alone or with a buddy.

The program will be held in the Messer Training Center at Camp Hinds. The training Center is the large white farmhouse on Plains Road across from the entrance to Camp Hinds.

Two sessions will be held*
Session 1    Friday Overnight.  Friday, March 28th 6:30 PM to Saturday, March 29th 7:00 PM
Session 2    Saturday Overnight.  Saturday, March 29th 8:00 AM to Sunday, March 30th 9:30 AM

*A Scout can register for Session 1 OR Session 2, but NOT both

Event Fee
Cost for Scouts is $45.00/session (Includes: program supplies, two merit badges, three meals, and one overnight)

Medical Forms
All participants will need to bring a paper copy of the Scouting Health Form, Parts A & B only.  Part C (Doctor's exam) is not required. Blank forms can be downloaded from the attachments section of this event.

Merit Badge Options
Whether you register for session 1 or session 2, the merit badge options are the same. Pick two merit badges, one for each period.

Merit Badge Prerequisites
Most merit badges have prerequisites which you must complete before coming to camp or you will get a partial.  Please refer to the prerequisites at the end of the flyer.
