SPRING FLING CAMPOREE

May 14-16, 2021

Acton Fairgrounds- Acton, Maine

Join us for the 2021 York District Spring Camporee and Webelos Space Derby at the Acton Fairgrounds!

Camporee is open to all Scouts BSA Units, Venture Scouts, and their adult leaders. Youth and adults must be properly registered with the BSA to attend.  Webelos/ Arrow of Light dens may attend, but they should register SEPARATELY. Scouts-BSA Units should NOT register Webelos. (See the Webelos section in the attached Leader's Guide for more Webelos details.)

Cost: $9.00 per person for Scouts BSA and Venturing Youth and Adults, and Webelos/ Arrow of Light youth. 
              *Cost per person includes a commemorative Spring Fling patch)
          There is no cost for parents/ guardians accompanying Webelos/ Arrow of Light youth, but extra patches can be purchased if desired. 

For Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews: 
Brush up on your Knots, Lashings, and Pioneering skills- they will be put to the test!
Expect to put together a gateway, a camp gadget, and a method to fling your projectile!

For Webelos/ Arrow of Light Dens:
On Saturday, you will have the chance to visit with different York District Scouts BSA and Venturing units, and then campout with your Webelos den. On Sunday, we will have a Space Derby for Webelos and Arrow of Light scouts in attendance. You can bring your own Space Derby Rocket, or order and pay for a kit with your registration and pick it up Saturday at check-in. If you are ordering a kit with regsitration, please make sure to leave some time in your schedule on Saturday to work on your rocket.

COVID REMINDER: Every person who attends this activity (whether a participant or just a visitor) for any length of time must complete a COVID Pre-screening form no longer than 24 hours before the event, and turn it in at the check-in table upon arrival.
