Overview

• The theme of this year’s Spring Camporee is Oregon Trail.
• Events are designed to encourage team building.  Scouts will need to work together, and while not every Scout can compete in every event, all must help in at least one.
• Registration: The cost per person attending will be $15. Early bird fee is $10 if PAID by May 10! This price is for Scouts and leaders. Register online at: https://scoutingevent.com/218-2019AbSpringCamporee
• Chili Cookoff: Show off your chili skills!  Chili must contain at least four separate ingredients & the recipe must be provided (nothing from a can!).  If there are 10 entries in the contest, the winner will receive a new propane stove.​
• Equipment:  Each patrol needs to bring:
  • ​Covered wagon (cart such as radio flyer modified with a cover) or your own creation. If no wagon, bring a backpack to carry your items
  • Scout handbook
  • Digital camera or cell phone with camera ability
  • Pencil or pen
  • First aid kit
  • Mess kit
  • 12 ounce can of beans
  • Compass, preferably lensatic type​
  • Pocket knife
  • Totin’ Chip​
  • Firem’n Chit
  • Clothing appropriate for weather conditions
  • Scout Spirit
• Parking:  Parking is available at the kiosk area, the quad, and the sports field.  Additional parking will be available at the medical facility on the left beyond the YMCA lot (please park at the far end of the lot as they are open on Saturday).
•  Fires:  All fires need to be above ground.
• Water:  Water is available on site.
