JANUARY 6, 13, 20 AND 27

Format:  Scouts will attend all 4 Saturdays and will attend the classes for the Merit Badges they are registered for.  Some Merit Badges will have pre/post work that will require a longer time commitment than 1 month.  These merit badges will result in a partial until the work is completed. 

Registration: Pre-registration is encouraged using the Pine Tree Council website.  Space is limited.  To ensure your spot you must pre-register!Blue Cards: Scouts are expected to arrive with a completed Blue Card from their Scoutmaster! Please check on requirements for prerequisites before classes start.

Workload: Please consider the workload involved with each of these Merit badges when you sign up.  Some will require more work than others and all will require work in between sessions.  Work with your scoutmaster and register for an appropriate number of Merit Badges for you.

Reading and Scholarship are available by appointment only; scouts can contact Drew Pisani (and CC an adult leader for two-deep leadership) at drewpisani@gmail.com for an appointment. 

Equipment:  Equipment is provided for all practical lessons for these Merit Badges except Snow Sports.  If you are taking Snow Sports you should have both snow shoes and classical nordic ski gear available to you.  If you are not able to provide your own gear please contact Ken Sparta at ken.sparta@scouting.org to see if loaner equipment is available.

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER.  If your Merit Badge will include outdoor activity BE PREPARED.

Inclement weather:  In the case of inclement weather the class will be rescheduled for the following day.  This communication will be made by email and posted on the Pine Tree Council Facebook page by 6am the day of the class.
