Scouts BSA Position-Specific Training

The course covers key elements of Scouting, including Troop and Patrol structure, advancement, uniforms, meeting planning, and running a Scout Led Troop. Separate modules address the unique roles of Scoutmasters, assistant Scoutmasters, and Committee members, helping leaders understand how their position fits into the overall success of the Troop.

This training is intended to provide the following positions with the information and tools they need to conduct a successful program:

  - Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster
  - Troop Committee
  - Troop Committee Chair

Registration will close on November 3, 2026.

Note: To receive credit for this training, please stay online for the entire session. We also ask that participants keep their cameras on and remain visible using a live video feed throughout the training. Thank you for helping us ensure everyone gets the full benefit of the course!
