2022 Osage Nation Fall Camporee
Oct 7-9, 2022 • Where: Parsons Lake, Kiwanis Shelter
Scouts will participate in an intensive day-long training covering all requirements for the Search and Rescue merit badge. Taught by local experts and Scouters, Scouts will learn firsthand how professionals in Southeast Kansa handle emergency situations and locate and rescue missing persons. Mock drills will test Scouts to apply their new skills. Participants: Scouts, scouters, and AOLs
A well-prepared Scout will be familiar with First Aid, Navigation, and Pioneering skills.
All units must have two-deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection Guidelines, and all registered leaders must have completed NEW Youth Protection Training. AOLs must have appropriate unit leadership.
Pre-registration Fee is $21 scouts/$20 adult scouters Registrations after September 16,2022 will be $30 per person. Registration fee includes shirts for all participants. Last day to register online September 23, 2022 EXTENDED TO September 30, 2022.
Meals - Each patrol will use the patrol method for each meal. Dinner Saturday will be a potluck with a dessert.
Refunds are not available, but fees may be transferred to another Scout or Adult under same registration number
Preregistration is required for shirt, program materials and patches to be provided to all participants. Event is open to all registered AOL, Troops, Crews and Posts. Online payment is required by credit card or electronic check
REQUIRED: ALL participants MUST have Parts A&B of the health form. Each unit will need to have a Roster.
Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance are provided for all registered members of the BSA.
