Osage Nation Winter Adventure - December 28-30, 2022
Caney Valley Antique Power Association Grounds ½ mile north of US 75 & 166 junction.
A winter adventure will include an introduction to cold weather camping with demonstration’s and activates designed to prepare youth for an outdoor adventure in cold and challenging elements. These activities may include fire building, identifying good, ok, and poor fire building materials and fire starters. Camp site selection, tent choices. Along with this several merit badges will be offered depending on the weather conditions.
Pre-registration Fee is $10 per person. Registrations after December 16, 2022 will be $15 per person. Registration fee includes program materials and a patch for all participants.
Last day to register online December 21, 2022.
All units must have two-deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection Guidelines, and all registered leaders must have completed NEW Youth Protection Training. WEBELOS and AOLs must have appropriate unit leadership.
Troops will provide their own meals. Dinner on Saturday will be a potluck. Try your hand at a winter camp dish. Bring a main course and dessert.
Refunds are not available, but fees may be transferred to another Scout or Adult under same registration number.
Preregistration is required for program materials and patches to be provided to all participants. Registration prior to December 16, 2022 is required to guarantee a patch. Event is open to all registered AOL, Troops, Crews and Posts. Online payment is required and may be made by credit card or electronic check. REQUIRED: ALL participants MUST have Parts A&B of the health form at check-in.
Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance are provided for all registered members of the BSA.
