Join us for a Spooky Fall Event with a variety of Halloween Themed Activities

Who: Cubscouts, Scouts BSA & Adults

Where:  Ringering Farms southeast of Ellinwood, Ks. Entry @ 38.317986936379164, -98.53519652776964. Directions from stoplight at Hi-way K-96 and main street in Ellinwood:    Go south on main street & blacktop road approximately ¾ mi to the river bridge. After you are over bridge on black top and have turned to the right (west) and go approximately ¼ mi to the intersection where there is a blacktop road going south. Look for Sign at that intersection for Barton Co. Feeders. Go south 1 mi and turn left (east). (Oil field business on northeast corner of this intersection.) Go 3 miles east to a sharp turn to the south (right turn). Ringering farmstead is on the left or east side of the road, take the 1st or north entrance to the farmstead and follow the road through the farmstead driving east. At an intersection (just past the shelter belt which is on your right) the road turns; go north (left turn) approximately 1 mi and (look for orange ribbons) take the first small road to the east (right turn) to the Nani Ba Zhu campsite and find the Tin Cabin in the Woods.

When: Friday OCTOBER 21- Sunday 23 (check-in at the teepee)

Cub Scout Activities include:

o Building a Recycled Monster (arts)

o Spooky Scavenger Hunt (all day activities)

o Haunted Trail

o Fear Factor game

o Monster Carnival Games

Scouts BSA / Venturing Events

Haunted Trail set-up &

Iron Chef cooking challenge –Spooky supernatural meal!

Cost: $12 per person through September 30th Late Fees of $5.00 will be Applied from Oct. 1st – 15th. Registration closes October 15th.

Important Details: Saturday supper will be provided. If staying overnight bring your own equipment/food for Saturday breakfast, lunch & Sunday breakfast.

Items to bring: Youth & Adults encouraged to wear a costume! Dress for the weather. All stations are outdoors.
