QUIVIRA COUNCIL'S NOVA DAY - Science Everywhere

This Quivira Council NOVA Day will be located at Exploration Place in Wichita and is designed to provide Cub Scouts an informative and a hands-on science experience.
Limited to a total of 100 Cub Scouts only
The day will consist of 4 different rotations of STEM activities, a movie in the Dome Theater and a Live Science Show, allowing your Cub Scouts to complete all the requirements for the NOVA award for “Science Everywhere”. (NOTE: If a Cub is using the Science Adventure according their Cub rank as requirement #2, then it should be done BEFORE attending in order to receive the NOVA award. Sessions will include:
Dome Show Requirement 1. A.
Live Science Show Requirement 1. A.
“Scientific Method Activity” Requirement 2. Option A
“Act Like a Scientist Activity” Requirement 3. A., B. & C.
“Survival Exhibit Activity” Requirement 4. A. and B.
Check-in at 8:00am - 8:30am ♦ Program begins at 8:30am ♦ Dismissed at 3:00pm
$25 per Cub Scout - Wolf, Bear, or Webelos Only
$5 fee per Adult gives access to all events ♦ Fees do not include Lunch - Scouts/Adults should bring lunch or purchase food from concessions or local businesses.
Last day to register: EXTENDED TO Fri., 1-21-22 (11:59pm) - NO Walk-ins, phone, or paper registration are allowed. Online payment required by check or credit card.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST FILL OUT COVID-19 WAVIER FORM TO BE HANDED IN AT CHECK-IN.
No refunds, registration may be transferred to Cub / adult under the same booked registration.
Liability insurance is provided for all BSA registered members.
