GET HOOKED ON SCOUTING!!

The 2024 Konza Fishing Derby is for all scouts to come together for a fun morning of fishing, games, activities, and food!

New Scouts that have registered since August 1, 2024 should have received a Golden Ticket from their unit leader.  This Golden Ticket is good for 1 new FREE fishing pole.  The ticket is only redeemable at the fishing derby.  If you have not received your ticket, contact your Cubmaster or the Konza District office at 785-587-1818.  If you have not completed your registration, you can turn in your paperwork at the derby and receive your pole.

The fishing derby will be held at Frank Anneberg Park in Manhattan, KS on Saturday, September 21, 2024.  We will start at 7am and finish by noon.  All Cub Scouts must be accompanied by a parent or gaurdian.  You are not required to be there at 7 and are welcome to leave before noon if you choose.  (Scouts 16 yrs or older, plus all adults fishing must have a Kansas fishing license.)

While only new scouts will receive fishing poles, all Scouts are welcome to come and participate.  We will be providing processed bait to fish with and lunch.  Existing Scouts will need to bring their own fishing pole.  

We will be headquartered at pavilion 1 at the south end of the lake in the park. 

Registration is just $10 per person.
