Do you like taking things apart and putting them back together? Thinking about a career that isn’t behind a desk?

A Diesel Technician or Truck Technician career may be the right choice for you! Truck Country invites you to participate in their Diesel Technology Exploring Program. “It’s more than just nuts and bolts in todays transportation world.”

How many of us know what we are looking at when we lift the hood of a vehicle? Most of us see a mass of wires, belts and parts that make little sense. A technician sees something very different: A puzzle of pieces that fit together just as they should. Understanding that puzzle can help them narrow down the options, diagnose the problem, and have you back on the road as soon as possible.

What to Expect:

• Remove engine components and learn the functionality and operation
• Compete in a “Top Tech” competition
• Build your own light or horn circuit, understanding the electronics

Meetings: October 8, November 12, December 10, January 14
Time: 4:00-5:30 PM

Registration Fee****: $10.00 (plus $2 online convenience fee**)
