Fields relating to Engineering and Architecture and Land Surveying are in high demand!

In this program you will complete hands-on activities related to architecture; engineering, including land development, municipal, structural, traffic & transportation and water resources; field services and land survey. You’ll design the floorplan and exterior of your own building, test retaining walls, virtually test bridge designs, design a water tower, imagine your ideal street layout, tour a site through VR, learn to use surveying equipment, and more! These activities will help you explore challenges related to infrastructure and how projects help keep people safe and healthy. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding the professions. 

Meetings: Monday, January 22 and Tuesday January 30, February 6, 13 and 20
Time: 5:30-7:30 PM
Location: Origin Design  |  137 Main St, Suite 100 in Dubuque (You may park in any spaces labeled "Origin Design" in the lot across the street)
Registration Fee: $55.00 (plus $2 online convenience fee)

There is much interest in this program and spots are limited to 20 students on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is an excellent way to get hand-on experience in the architecture, engineering, and surveying industry while having a great time and meeting others with similar interests.  Remember, your future is the best reason to explore careers today!
