Dellaykee District Merit Badge University

Location: St. Joseph's School in Earlville, IA
Cost:  $8.00
 
Check-in:  8 a.m.
Flag Ceremony: 8:30 a.m.
Classes begin:   9:00 a.m.
Lunch:  11:30 a.m.- 12:15 p.m.  Please bring a sack lunch.
Classes end:  3:00 p.m.
Please wear your Class A Uniform.  
Pop, water, candy bars, & donuts will be for sale.  This money will be donated to the school as a donation for letting us use the space.  
 
Some prerequisites may be required.  Please see details below.  Please talk with your Scoutmaster before signing up!  Your Scoutmaster needs to sign-off your blue card for each merit badge.

Weather - Taught by Dave Rodenberg, class size of 15
Weather Prereqs:  Please read the merit badge book and complete #8

Citizenship in the Community - Taught by Craig Carton, class size of 20
C in the C Prereqs:  Read the merit badge book and complete #2a, #3ab, #4ab, and #7abc
 
Citizenship in the Nation - Taught by Jim Langhaus, class size of 20
C in the N Prereqs:  Please read the merit badge book and complete #3, #6 requirements.
 
Communications - Taught by Jan Stravopolus, class size of 15
Communications Prereqs: Please read the merit badge book

Engineering - Taught by Shannon Richardson, class size of 15
Engineering Prereqs: Please read the merit badge book
 
Adult Leader Training will also be offered for adults while the youth are participating in the various classes.  Please join us!
