Howdy, partner! Get ready to have a rootin' tootin' good time at Camp C.S. Klaus this summer.

Camping Options:

Caravan Stop Day Camps

What: Single-day experience
Who: Youth (girls & boys) entering 1st grade through 5th grade. You do NOT need to be a current Scout to participate
When: Option 1: June 17, 2023 at Camp C.S. Klaus
            Option 2: July 22, 2023  in Dubuque
Time: 9 AM Check-In, 3 PM Check-Out
Cost: $40/youth, parents/guardians FREE
Includes: Day Camp t-shirt, event patch, and lots of memories

  • T-shirt only available to those registered by 11:59pm on May 22, 2023

Cub Scout Ranger Overnight Camps

What: Two-day, one-night adventure
Who: Scouts (girls & boys) entering 1st grade through 5th grade. You DO need to be a current Scout to participate. (Find a pack near you at www.beascout.org)
When: Option 1: June 24-25, 2023
            Option 2: July 15-16, 2023
Where: Camp C.S. Klaus
Time: 10 AM Check-In Saturday, 9 AM Check-Out Sunday
Cost: $105 ($125 after May 15) - includes one parent/guardian registration
Includes: Camp patch, lunch, dinner, breakfast, tent, and amazing memories


Wild West Webelos Weekend

What: Three-day, two-night weekend experience
Who: Scouts (girls & boys) entering 4th or 5th grade. MUST be a registered Scout to participate. (Find a pack near you at www.beascout.org)
When: July 7-9
Where: Camp C.S. Klaus
Time: 1 PM Check-In Friday, 9 AM Check-Out Sunday
Cost: $140 ($160 after May 15), $55 registered adult registration


What You Need To Know:

Caravan Stop Day Camps:

Train in the Old West! From Olde Tyme crafting and panning for gold, water, to sharp shooting archery and bb guns, you will be kept busy the entire day!

  • All youth MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • IMPORTANT: Bring your own sack lunch.
  • See the packing list on the event attachments.
  • A water activity is included in the day's events. Please wear clothes that can get wet.
  • A BSA Annual Health & Medical Record, parts A&B, are required. The forms will be collected at check-in. Find the form on the event at: https://www.scouting.org/health-and-safety/ahmr/.

Cub Scout Ranger Overnight Camps:

Put your cowboy and cowgirl skills to the test!  Choose your ideal adventure schedule. Maybe you'll explore animals of the plains, a native art piece, train as a deputy, and learn to wrangle cattle. Or perhaps you will take Marshall Training on the range, climb the Rockies at our climbing tower, or splash on the log roll at Lake John Deere.

  • All Scouts MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Wild West Webelos Weekend:

Will you accept the challenges of Wild West? Take control of your adventure by choosing your classes. Consider going into the west and explore plants and trees. Or maybe create native art, train as a trail medic, and learn constellations of the big sky. Of course, you'll want to save some time for climbing the Rockies, swimming in Lake John Deere, and Marshall Training at the range!

  • Every pack needs at least 1 registered adult to every 4 Webelos. Packs are responsible for meeting this requirement.
  • See the packing list on the event attachments.
  • A BSA Annual Health & Medical Record, parts A&B, are required. The forms will be collected at check-in. Find the form on the event at: https://www.scouting.org/health-and-safety/ahmr/.
