Catholic Committee on Scouting Dubuque District Presents: Light of Christ & Parvuli Dei Retreat 2018
This retreat will offer an opportunity for our Cub Scouts to learn how our Catholic beliefs relate to our daily life in Cub Scouting. An important part of Scouting is showing Reverence to God. The Catholic Emblems Program helps instill this need for reverence in God & understanding of God's teachings. And of course by earning this emblem,
Light of Christ Emblem: Any Catholic Cub Scout who has not received his First Holy Communion. (Typically 2nd Graders/Wolf Scouts)
Parvuli Dei Emlem: Any Catholic Cub Scout who has received his first communion up through 5th grade. (Typcially 4th Graders/Webelos1)

Location: St. Joseph the Worker School
Registration: 10:30-10:50 a.m.
Registration: 10:30-10:50 a.m.
Program Starts: 11:00 a.m.
Program Ends: Following 5:00 p.m. Mass
Cost: $8.00 (Covers snacks & lunch)
Emblems: $14.00
What to Bring: pen/pencil, Light of Christ or Parvuli Dei Book (purchase at the Scout Office), and notebook. A parent/guardian (one adult (parent/guardian) is required to stay with his/her Cub Scout.
Uniform: Please have your Cub Scouts wear his Class A uniform as they will attend Mass at 4:00 p.m. He will have some free time outside if the weather cooperates. Please send appropriate clothing for "Outside Recess Activities."
