We look forward to seeing you at the Mitigwa Scout Reservation for your summer resident camp experience.

We are busy improving and updating our camp program to bring you the best Scouting experience possible. As you explore this guide, you will see the many ways we have expanded and revised our camp program so you can have great outdoor fun, learn new Scout skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime. 

Mitigwa is an Ioway Indian’s word that means "Maker of Men." We take that purpose very seriously. Camp Mitigwa provides a fun and challenging experience for everyone, from the first year campers to seasoned veterans, all in the hopes that each person who enters our gates will be made better by their experiences here.

These are exciting times in Scouting! Mitigwa Scout Reservation is approaching it’s 100th Birthday. Exciting changes for Mitigwa over the next few years are in the works behind the scenes. Girls now have the opportunity to enjoy Cub Scouts. Young women can now become Eagle Scouts. We look forward to seeing you for an exciting summer at Camp Mitigwa!

Girl Troops: If you are registering a Girl Troop and Boy Troop, you may place both registrations under the same account, but must register each unit separately. Even if you intend to stay in the same campsite. It will help prevent overcrowding in campsites and National BSA mandates that they are separated. 

2020 Camp Fees

* Newly Registered Scouts will be guaranteed the early registration fee with a copy of the completed application. Scouts are considered new if they have recently joined the program or crossed over from Webelows.

All-Star Troops

The All-Star Troop is a chance for Scouts to get to go to camp that might not be able to attend with their unit. Parents and Troop leaders may register their individual Scouts for the All-Star Troop for Week 4 or Week 5 of summer camp using the "Scouts BSA Youth (All-star Troop)" option. Payment schedules apply regardless of camping as a traditional unit or with the All-Star Troop. Please choose the appropriate campsite when registering.

All-Star Campsites
All-Star Scouts will be assigned a host Troop with available space to camp with.
