What is it?

The Cub Fun Day - Celebration of Service is our fall day of service and celebration of our 2026 "Mid-Iowa Council Year of Service" challenge. We will have all the regular fun Mitigwa Fun Day activities, including: BB guns, archery, slingshots, pedal cars, water rockets, hiking, and games. We will also present awards to our Cub Scout Packs that submitted the most hours of service toward our council service goal. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

When?

Saturday, October 3. 2026
There is no set schedule; all stations will be open from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Where?

Camp Akela

Food?

The trading post will have food, drinks, and other items for sale. Cash or a credit card may be used as payment. 

What to Bring?

Comfortable shoes for walking. All your friends!

Weather?

Dress for the weather - this is a "rain or shine" event.
