Camp Mitigwa (Scouts BSA) Summer Camp 2025

Event Details

Welcome Scouts and Scouters!

We look forward to seeing you at the Mitigwa Scout Reservation for resident camp on the hills above the river.

2025 Camp Mitigwa Camp Fees

  • $400 per Scout
  • $175 per Adult

Registering as a Guest or Setting Up and Using an Account

  • The reservation system allows you to register for camp as a guest or setup and use an account. Click HERE for the account setup video.
  • As a guest, you will receive a registration email that will allow you to access your registration at any time. You will have to manually enter your Scouts' information.
  • Registering with an account allows easier access to your registration, reports, and roster. (Your email must be linked to your unit as a key 3 to access your council-provided unit roster.)

Deposit and Site Reservation (Through January 31, 2025)

  • When making campsite reservations, a $100 non-refundable, deposit (which will be applied to the final reservation) is due, as well as an estimated number of adults and youth participants.
  • When providing estimated participant numbers please be as accurate as possible.
  • The deposit phase ends January 31, 2025.
  • After the deposit phase ends, minimum payments per participant will be required upon registration.

Full Registration

  • Beginning February 1, 2025, in order to enter participant information you will be required to verify your youth and adult participant numbers and pay a $150 minimum payment for each youth.
  • After you verify your youth participants and pay the $150 minimum payment, those participants are considered fully registered.
  • Nothing is due at this time for verified adult participants.
  • All new registrations starting February 1, 2025, will require a verified count of youth and adults, with a $150.00 deposit per youth.
  • Speed up your merit badge registration by making your initial payment and having your participant information updated early.

Merit Badges

  • Merit Badge class registration opens March 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Please refer to the program for specifics.
  • All youth and adult participants must be verified, have required personal information filled in (Name, gender, email, birthdate), and $150.00 minimum payment per youth, to register youth for Merit Badges.
  • Nothing is due at this time for verified adult participants.
  • The required minimum payment deters units from signing up youth who will not make it to camp and filling Merit Badge slots that may be better used to serve other units.

Adding or Reducing Participant Numbers

  • You may add to your participants at any time.
  • On April 1, 2025, you will be charged for, and locked into, all estimated adult and youth participant spots on your registration.
  • Adult and youth participation fees are due in full on May 1, 2025.
  • Any reduction in participant numbers after the numbers have been verified, or after April 1, 2025, will be considered a cancellation and the cancellation fees will apply.
  • You may at anytime transfer a spot to a different person without penalty.

Registration Information Locked

  • On the Friday before your arrival at camp, the information in your registration is locked.
  • Locking in that information allows the staff to print off rosters and prepare for your arrival.
  • So they can streamline the check-in process, we ask that you make sure to enter any allergies, health concerns, and all other personal information into your registration in advance of that date.

All-Star Campers:

The All-Star Campers is a chance for Scouts to get to go to camp that might not be able to attend with their unit. Parents and Troop leaders may register their individual Scouts and work with our staff to get them connected with an other Troop that is attending during any week of summer camp. Payment schedules apply regardless of camping as a traditional unit or as and All-Star Camper.

Lone Star Scouts

Lone Star Scouts will be paired with another Troop attending camp to ensure proper adult supervision. Please contact the office staff to get paired with another unit.

Girl Troops:

If you are registering a Girl Troop and Boy Troop you must register each unit separately. Even if you intend to stay in the same campsite. It will help prevent overcrowding in campsites and National BSA mandates that they are separated.

Campsites

Campsites are assigned based on the order that the registration is received. Earlier registrations receive campsite priority. Please see the campsite matrix at the bottom of this page to see the current availability. Campsite assignments are subject to change.

Chippewa Campsite is reserved for units with disabled Scouts and Scouters, All-Star units, and other camp needs. If your unit has a need for Chippewa please leave a note in your registration for consideration, then choose additional campsites for options if Chippewa is not available.
