How does your troop’s honor
guard stand up?
Does your troop have an honor guard? Want to
start one, but don’t know what to do? Want to
make your troop’s honor guard better?

The Iowa National Guard’s Honor Guard will
teach troop honor guards the basics in flag
etiquette, marching, conducting flag
ceremonies in a day of instruction.

The culmination of the day is a competition between
troop honor guards. The winning troop will be
the inaugural winner of the General’s Cup,
presented by Major General Timothy Orr, the
Adjutant General of Iowa and Eagle Scout Dad.
