Outdoor Ethics Orientation Course

Event Details

Unit 733 is hosting an Outdoor Ethics event to bring Pack, Scouts BSA Leaders, and Parents together for shared learning and engagement. The event will be led by Former District Training Chair and Leave No Trace Master Educator Joseph Wilfing, and will reinforce the Land Ethic, Outdoor Code, Leave No Trace, and Tread Lightly principles through an in person workshop held at the Troop/Pack 733 Scout Cabin in Nappanee. Participants that complete the two online 101 courses in advance will have the opportunity by attending, to earn the Scouts BSA Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award. This event will promote Outdoor Ethics in a way that leaders can return to their units to encourage and practice what they learn.
