Range Safety Officer Training

This course is for attendees age 21 or older. Participants who take this course will receive the Range Safety Officer Training.  This training will take place at Camp Buffalo in Beasy Hall on Saturday, November 1st.  The course will begin at 8:00 AM, please arrive early for check-in.  The class will take approximately 9 hours. The cost for the class is $100 which covers materials, facilities, and staff for the training.

The course will cover range standard operating procedures, range inspection, range rules, range briefings, emergency procedures, and firearm stoppages and malfunctions.

Supplies Needed:

• #2 Pencil
• Ink pens
• Notepad
• Highlighters
• 3-Ring Binder (3 in.)

Meals

No meals will be provided. Participants should eat breakfast prior to the class and bring a sack lunch and any snacks or drinks they would like.

Note 

There will be no range time for this class.  Everything will take place indoors.
