Basic Instructor Training & NRA Rifle Training

Location: Camp Buffalo, Beasy Hall

This 25+ hour course completes all requirements to become an NRA Rifle Instructor. The training includes both classroom and rifle time. You will complete a basic instructor training, basics of rifle shooting and rifle instructor training. Participants must complete all sections to become certified.

Please bring a notebook and a pen. Learning materials will be provided.

This class will take place from March 21-23. Please arrive at Camp Buffalo on Friday by 5:30pm to check-in and get started! Dinner is not provided on Friday, but meals will be provided all day Saturday, as well as breakfast Sunday. Snacks are provided; bring your own beverages for the weekend.

Registration cost is $200 per person, which will cover the provided meals, training materials, use of the guns and ammo, and housing for the weekend.

For anyone who is currently NRA credentialed/certified, and only needs to take the Basic Instructor Training, you may register at no cost. This training will be held on Friday evening at 5:30. Snacks are provided; bring your own beverages.
