There will again be two sessions for this event.  8 am -12 pm and 1pm to 5pm

On October 11th, 2024, join us at Franklin L. Cary Camp from 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm for 4 simultaneous ranges, with rotating Scouts shooting BB, archery, action BBs, and sling shots! We have room for 128 Scouts in the morning session and 128 Scouts in the afternoon. Book now!

Fees are $15.00 in the early bird pricing and $20 after September 13th for Scouts. Adult attendance is free but required.  Parents either accompany your scout or units sign up 1 adult per 4 children please. Walk-ins will NOT be accepted.

All participating Cub Scouts will finish their hands on shooting requirements the day of the event. Take home curriculum will be given to parents and leaders so that all Cub Scouts can earn the shooting sports awards prior to or after the event.

All Cub Scouts will also receive a Cub Scout Shoot Out 2025 Patch this year!

Please note: Lion Scouts are not recommended to attend this event because they are only able to participate in half the activities per the Guide to Safe Scouting. They cannot participate in BB gun shooting, which takes up two hours of time.

No food is provided, so please bring your own snacks and water. All Scouts will also need to bring medical forms A&B only or attach them in BlackPug.

Parents who volunteer as rangemasters get free admission for their scouts!  Rangemaster trainings in the fall will be available to register for soon!
