Have you ever wanted to go camping…without the kids? How about hanging out around the campfire with grown-ups?

Here’s your Excuse!

These two courses will equip leaders to dive into the amazing experience of taking Scouts for an outdoor experience. Everyone needs a digital detox now an then.

For Scouts BSA: IOLS

Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank.

For Cub Scouts: BALOO

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation is an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program for leaders interested in adding a camping component to their Pack activities. Every Pack Overnighter must include at least one BALOO-trained leader
