2024 - Pre-Eclipse Day of Fun at Purdue University
We are excited to announce a day of fun and hands-on learning at Purdue University to prepare for the Solar Eclipse!
This event will take place on March 30th from 9 am-12 pm at the Honors College at Purdue University. Our Cub Scouts will be treated to STEM programming including using models to discuss our moon’s phases and building an earth and sun seasons model! They will also work with the constellations and how our eclipse will affect the earth’s wildlife. Our Scout’s BSA youth will be learning about satellite communication, the scale of our solar system, making a comet model, using an infrared camera, making a spectrometer, and other activities.
Parking will be at the University Street Parking Garage and check-in will be at the Honors College Entrance.
