Join us for Buddy Bag Preparation and Delivery!

The Sagamore Council, Boy Scouts of America is partnering with the United Way serving Howard and Tipton County as the designated delivery and prep team for the Buddy Bag Program. We want you/your business to join this partnership!

Buddy Bags (bags of food for students that are food insecure) are packaged each week by United Way staff and volunteers and delivered to students at local Kokomo schools.

There are two components to this event:

Each Wednesday we meet from 12pm to 1pm at 2733 Albright Rd, Kokomo to prepare the Buddy Bags for the next day. Max of 10 participants.

Each Thursday we meet at the same location, 2733 Albright Rd, and load our trailer with Buddy Bags, heading out to Kokomo Elementary Schools. The entire process is completed in less than 90 minutes and is an incredible way to start the day. Max of 4 participants.

You can sign up for either component! These are both a great teambuilding activity, and an opportunity to make a huge difference in our community in a very short period of time.  If your business would like to assist, please pick a day(s) to help and assign staff members to assist. Volunteers should be noted on the sign up form.
