2023 - 50th Anniversary of the Sagamore Council Luncheon

Event Details

You only turn 50 once and 2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Sagamore Council. Scouting was prevalent prior to 1973 but was in the form of three individual Councils: Three Rivers (Logansport), Meshingomesia (Marion), and Harrison Trails (Lafayette). New Articles of Incorporation were filed and approved on December 19, 1972, with an effective date of January 1, 1973.

On Saturday, February 18, 2023, we will celebrate this monumental decision to merge three individual councils into one of the finest councils in Indiana and beyond: The Sagamore Council!

You are invited to join us at Elite Banquet Center in Kokomo (2820 S Lafountain St, Kokomo, IN 46902). Tickets are $30 each, or a table for up to 8 people for $200.

2022 Eagle Scouts are free to attend but must order a ticket; their guests should purchase tickets. Attendees can underwrite a ticket for an Eagle Scout if they desire. Join us as we celebrate history and recognize youth and volunteers for their amazing work in Scouting!

Gathering will be at 11:30 AM, with the lunch and program beginning at 12:00. Dress for the event is business casual or Scout uniform, whichever you prefer.
