Event Details

Scouts, BSA youth will be able to work on Archery MB from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  This event will take place at the ranges at Camp Buffalo, and blue cards will be distributed after the event. Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled program time. Scouts need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle.

Scouts will have the opportunity to complete the merit badge as long as they are able to perform the shooting requirements.

Prerequisites: Be familiar with the merit badge pamphlet and the Indiana Hunting and Trapping Guide.  Scouts are recommended to review and complete the merit badge worksheet and bring a copy with them to camp.  These documents are included in the attachments for this event.

Archery MB is limited to 8 Scouts.

COVID-19 Notice:  We will take as many precautions to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 as possible.  Scouts and staff must have a mask or face covering with them when they attend the event.  When appropriate distance cannot be maintained, Scouts will be asked to wear their mask.  Program supplies that need to be shared (on a very limited basis), and facilities will be disinfected regularly.  Picnic tables will be spread out for parents who attend with their child to ensure social distancing.  Parents are encouraged to bring a chair and water, you’re welcome to bring a popup canopy for shade if desired.  Scouts BSA parents may drop their Scout off and pick them up at the conclusion of the Merit Badge session.

If your Scout or anyone in your household has had a fever, cough, diarrhea, or any other signs of illness within the last 10 days please stay home. We want this to be a positive experience for all participants, and this policy will lower the risk of spreading illness.
