Shotgun Instructor & Basic Instructor Training

Participants who take this course will receive the Shotgun Instructor Training that is required to be certified through Scouting America, as well as the Basic Instructor Training. The cost for the event is $200.00 person, which includes training materials, housing for the weekend, and meals. You might want to bring your own beverages.

May 8th - 10th, 2026 at Camp Buffalo, Beasy Hall
Check in will begin at 5:30 PM ET Friday.
Basic Instructor Training will begin at 6:00 PM ET Friday.
Shotgun InstructorTrainings will begin at 8:00 AM ET Saturday. 
The course will run until approximately 3:00 PM ET Sunday.
***You do not need to attend the Basic Instructor Training on Friday evening if you are currently credentialed.***

Please bring a notebook, pencil or pen, highlighters, and a 3-ring binder.
