Basic Instructor Training & NRA Rifle Training

Location: Camp Buffalo, Beasy Hall

This 25+ hour course completes all requirements to become an NRA Rifle Instructor. The training includes both classroom and rifle time. You will complete a basic instructor training, basics of rifle shooting and rifle instructor training. Participants must complete all sections to become certified.

Please bring a notebook and a pen. Learning materials will be provided.

This class will take place from April 17th - 19th, 2026. Please arrive at Camp Buffalo on Friday by 5:30pm to check-in and get started! Dinner is not provided on Friday, but meals will be provided all day Saturday, as well as breakfast Sunday. Snacks are provided; bring your own beverages for the weekend.

Registration cost is (TBD) per person, which will cover the provided meals, training materials, use of the guns and ammo, and housing for the weekend.
