Event Details

Do you dare to take a jump? All the brave people will be converging at Lake Cherokee to jump through a hole in the ice and swim/run to shore in the first Crossroads of America Council Yeti Jump. Come to beautiful Camp Kikthawenund to celebrate the 106th Birthday of Scouting on February 11, 2017.
Registration is open to all Scouts and family members. Ages from 5 to 105 are welcome to jump in the lake for Scouting.
There will be music, laughter and a warming station.
Plunge attire is swimsuit and/or athletic gear (shorts, t-shirts, etc.). Wetsuits, however, are strictly prohibited. Participants must wear shoes (no "bear' feet allowed) to jump into the lake. it's advised to bring a beach towel for after the jump.
There will be awards for your custom and for the unit with the most participants.
Plunge registrants 5-15 must have a signed parental permission form and a chaparone present to participate. Registrants 16-18 must have a signed parental permission form.
Participants may choose their registration fee:

$15 - registration and a limited edition event patch

$50 - registration and a custom hat

$100 - registration and a custom fleece blanket
Absolutely NO DIVING allowed. No pets allowed.
