Highland Games

Come Join the Sakima District in the Scottish Highlands at this Camporee.  Events will center around traditional Scottish games (Caber Toss, Hammer Throw, etc.) as well as a Dutch Oven Cook-Off.

GENERAL INFORMATION:'

• Saturday Lunch Provided by Tim Wehr and family.  Please bring a can of chicken soup PER SCOUT to donate to local food bank.
• Troops will be camping in Parade Field in a long line.  Same as Winter 2017 at Belzer.
• Dutch Oven Cook-Off will be held at the Dining Hall Saturday after dinner
• Individual Events Morning (Age Groups 10-12, 13-15, 16-17) include Hammer Throw, Caber Toss, Javelin Throw, Stone Put, Obstacle Course)
• Team Events Afternoon include A Frame Build and Walk, Tug of War and Siege Warfare.

6:00 – 7:45 AM           Reveille and Breakfast in Camps

7:45 – 8:15 AM           Patrol Leader Meeting in Camporee Headquarters

8:15 – 8:30 AM           Morning colors and opening ceremony (main flagpole area)

8:30 – 5:00 PM         Camporee Program

5:00 PM                    Evening colors (main flagpole area)

5:00 – 7:00 PM         Dinner and Dutch Oven Cooking in Campsites
