Law Exploring Post
Are you a teenager that like to argue? Do you enjoy persuading people to see your side of things? Do you like analyzing arguments and applying logic? Are you curious about how laws are made and applied? Join us for the Law and Government Exploring Post Open House!
The Exploring Law Post #1924 is open to youth ages 14-20 interested in learning about careers in law and government. The Post will meet the second Tuesday of each month from October-May. This program focuses on introducing you to careers in law and government, as well as professionals and experiences in those fields. Topics that will be covered and activities may include: creation of laws, general litigation, courtroom tours, civil rights, immigration, family law, health care law, alternative career opportunities, preparation for going to law school and how to be a successful student in law school
We encourage both students and parents to join us at our open house on September 6th to learn more about the program, and the schedule for the upcoming year.
