Registration is open to all Lions, Tigers, Wolfs, Bears, Webelos and their siblings, but is limited to the first 300 pre-registered participants.
Awards & prizes will be given out! You must be present to claim any prizes. First Catch of the Day, Largest Fish Caught, Most Fish Caught, Smallest Fish Caught
Catch & Release only · Bring your own fishing gear · bait will be available at camp. All participants will receive a limited edition Fishing Derby Patch.
Sorry adults, only kids between 5 -10 years of age are permitted to fish.
If you would like to fish after the event please keep in mind that a fishing license is required for anyone over 16 years of age per Indiana state law.
For Bear Ranks this is a good time to start work on your Bear Elective Adventure: a bear goes Fishing.
For safety reasons, all youth need to be accompanied by an adult partner. Do not just drop the boys off. Youth need to be supervised on the fishing banks.
Bring your own rod. This is banks fishing. Bait will be provided. Parents might want to have a pocket knife and needle nose pliers available.
Bring plenty of water and a water bottle, a hat, a jacket, Chap Stick, and sun screen. Be Prepared!
