Register your son for Baden-Powell Merit Badge Camp if he is interested in earning as many as 4 Merit Badges over the course of 5 days. The program offers Eagle Required Merit Badges, as well as several electives that change from year to year. The staff is very knowledgeable about each of the badges taught, and provide extensive background knowledge on the topic.

The program is located at Camp Belzer on the northeast side of Indianapolis. The camp operates Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm. Scouts should bring a lunch, swim suit and towel each day.

Extended day program is also available for families who cannot arrange supervision for their Scouts after the regular day ends. Extended day lasts until 5:30 pm and costs an additional $30 for the week.

Each week on Thursday, Scouts may elect to attend the field trip. Every week the field trip will go to a new location around central Indiana for an amazing experience not typically found at a summer camp. Scouts may earn requirements towards additional merit badges on their field trip. Some field trips have an additional cost. The Scout may also elect to stay in camp and perform a service project if they aren't interested in attending that week's field trip.

Fridays this summer have several options available for your Scout to chose from. Most involve leaving camp and making a new experience. Options include a 25 mile bike ride, 10 mile hike, or a short hike with fishing expedition into Fort Harrison State Park. The Scout may also elect to stay in camp and work on his Wilderness Survival Merit Badge.

Scheduling this year has also changed to make coordination and accountability easier and more streamlined.  Instead of signing up for individual Merit Badges, you get to chose from a group of Merit Badges which have been crafted together to offer a good balance of required Merit Badges and electives.
