Whitewater Memorial State Park - Good Turn for Nature Fall Service Project

Event Details

Good Turn for Nature, September 19 - November 4, 2018 at a participating parks, nature centers, or natural areas.

The Good Turn for Nature is a council service project aims to engage Scouts directly in acts of conservation. Scouts will participate in activities at multiple sites across central Indiana learning about the importance of caring of nature.

 

Identified conservation projects include:

- Trash pick-up.
- Weed cutting.
- Tree / plant identification.
- Bird identification.
- Trail maintenance.. and much more! 

Project: Campground Clean-Up at Whitewater Memorial State Park

Scouts will pick up litter, cut weeds, and flag invasive species.

Number of Scouts: 21-40
Grade Range: Kindergarten -12th
