Welcome to the 2025 Western Division Winter Camporee!

This year, we are diving into American History and learning what it means to be a Scout in America! What do we mean when we say “Citizenship in the Nation”? How does Native American heritage shape the United States? What is our heritage as both Americans and as Scouts? We’re going to look into all of that this weekend, and at the same time we’re going to take some really big strides on our Path to Eagle. Join us for a good ol’ fashioned camporee as we discover what it means to be American!

Merit badges and rank advancement sessions will be required to choose when registering. See details on last page of camporee packet.

*AOL scouts need their own 2-deep leadership and register as their own unit on the registration. Contact Camp Director to request campsite near Troop.

Camporee Merchandise & Apparel

Each attendee will be provided with an event patch, included in the price of registration.

Event apparel is available for pre-order through the registration link, and WILL NOT be available for purchase at the Trading Post. Long-sleeve, cotton/poly blend t-shirts are available at a cost of $15.00 each (+$2.00 for size 2X and larger), and a hoodie sweatshirt is available at a cost of $20.00 each (+$2.00 for size 2X and larger). This apparel will be at an additional cost and ARE NOT included in the price of registration. Pre-order for these items will conclude on February 2, 2025.

Klondike Sledge Race 

Each Patrol will race against time on a course by pulling and/or pushing their sled from start to finish. The race will be performed around the perimeter of the activity field. Sleds should be equipped with wheels and axles that can be attached to the sled runners if there is insufficient snow (under 1"). Wheels can be no larger than 10 inch outside diameter. No bicycle or buggy wheels. It is suggested that each sled is equipped with a pull line of sufficient length to allow 5 to 6 ft between pullers. Between 4-6 patrol members pull the sled and one Scout will ride on the sled during the race as the musher. 

Criteria for sledge: No longer than 6 feet long, 30 inches wide, and no store bought skies. See “Klondike Sledge Design Ideas'' attachment if needing to build a sled.
