2026 University of Scouting

Whether you are new to Scouting or have years of experience, there is always more to discover. The University of Scouting is the Crossroads of America Council’s largest single-day training event, and it is now open to the public.
This full-day program brings together participants from across the council and beyond for hands-on learning and practical training. With dozens of sessions offered across multiple tracks, attendees can:
- Build outdoor and technical skills
- Strengthen leadership and communication abilities
- Learn best practices in unit operations, advancement, and safety
- Explore new ideas to enhance the Scouting experience
Cub Scout Youth
A special Cub Scout program will also be held on site, offering age-appropriate activities for Cub Scouts while their adults attend training. Adults of participating Cub Scouts must remain on site throughout the event.
Scouts BSA Youth
Classes are available for Scouts BSA youth, all centered around taking their leadership and skills to the next level!
The University of Scouting provides valuable learning opportunities for all backgrounds, whether you are involved in Scouting or simply interested in developing skills in leadership, outdoor education, and youth engagement.
