Red-tail Land Conservancy - Good Turn for Nature Fall Service Project
Good Turn for Nature, September 19 - November 4, 2018 at a participating parks, nature centers, or natural areas.
The Good Turn for Nature is a council service project aims to engage Scouts directly in acts of conservation. Scouts will participate in activities at multiple sites across central Indiana learning about the importance of caring of nature.
Identified conservation projects include:
- Trash pick-up.
- Weed cutting.
- Tree / plant identification.
- Bird identification.
- Trail maintenance.. and much more!
Event: Lend a Hand for the Land at White River Woods
Scouts will pick up litter, cut weeds, flag invasive species, and help maintain trails.
Number of Scouts: 10-20
Grade Range: 6th-12th
