We are excited to welcome you to the 2024 Pre-Camp Swim Checks for Ransburg Scout Reservation and other BSA camps. Please note that this  swim check is intended for Scouts-BSA (Troop) and Venturing (Crew) programs. 

We kindly ask that Cub Scout (Pack) units interested in registering for this event wait until April 19th to proceed with your registration.Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work to accommodate all units effectively.

EVENT DETAILS:

Date: May 5, 2024

Time: 2 PM - 5 PM. The registration is split up into 15 minute sessions. Up to 10 peple can be registered for each session. 

Location: Beech Grove High School Pool. Enter using the athletics entrance which is located on the south side of the building by the football field.

The Pre-Camp Swim Checks serve as a swift way to expedite the check-in process during your camp stay. We encourage all units to participate . Please arrive with your unit's Swim Classification Record form filled out. This form contains crucial information regarding the swim classifications and the requirements for each level of swimmer. It is essential to familiarize your members with the approved strokes outlined in the form before they arrive.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please have your members ready to enter the pool at the time you register for. Changing facilities are available on-site to facilitate this process.

Aquatics events deeper than knee dept require adherence to the Paddle Craft Safety standards. This standard states that a compete health history is required of all participants. Forms for minors must be signed by a parent/legal guardian. Bring a signed health form with parts A and B completed for anyone undergoing swim testing.
